Description

Cross stitch chart by Lynne Nicoletti. This is a board game you stitch yourself! Down The Garden Path traces the development of a garden from a barren corner, dominated by a cobwebbed and ramshackle old shed, to a vibrant space full of beaded Hollyhocks, Honey Bees and glittering Dragonflies. All players start at the aforementioned old shed and end at the charming, renovated garden-house. The course and duration of this transformation is determined by the toss of a dice (included in the chartpack... as are 4 glass button markers and an organza bag to store the game and accessories). From a stitcher’s point of view, this piece is a fun and quick stitch... in fact, there should be ample time between now and the holidays to complete the piece for gift-giving. Since the game is made up of many small elements... individual ladybugs which form a trail for the game; beaded Toadstools; a scruffy little scare crow; etc. Many of these little pieces are easily completed in a single stitching session, providing stitchers with great variety and multiple sensations of completion.
