NC167 Maidenhair is new from Nora Corbett Designs' Spring Garden Party series! This beauty was stitched on 32ct French Lace Line over two threads using DMC floss, Mill Hill Beads, and Kreinik metallic threads. This design will look equally nice on Antique White Aida or Jobelan or French Lace Aida. Approx. 6.3 W x 9.9 H inches.

 

 

 

 

Loose Feathers-Mary Ann Blackburn Spring 2012 contains a beautiful reproduction sampler and two other designs. You can stitch all three of these vintage designs on one fat quarter of 30ct Sheep's Straw Linen from R&R Reproductions using Gentle Arts, Weeks Dye Works, and Crescent Colours threads.

If you love reproduction samplers, this book is for you!

 

 

Hard Frost by John Clayton from Heritage Crafts reminds me of the quiet time right after a fresh snow. Simply beautiful! This design stitches up to a 10 inch circle on 14ct Aida or 28ct fabric (over two threads) using DMC threads.

 

 

NC157 Harmony by Nora Corbett Designs from her Muse Collection is stitched on 32ct Sea Lily Linen by Nora Corbett (Alternative fabric: 16ct Sea Lily Aida by Nora Corbett) using Mill Hill Beads 02096, 02099, 02104, 18825, 42019; Kreinik #4 Braid 001, 021; Caron Collection Waterlilies (CWL209), Crescent Colours Threads 084 La Tierra and 176 Ye Old Gold. Approximate design size 10.2" w x 6.5" h on these fabrics. Stitch count: 139 x 109.

 

 

2011 Ornament 8-Hallelujah by Little House Needleworks is stitched on 30ct Straw Linen from Weeks Dye Works using DMC floss, Crescent Colours threads, and Gentle Arts Sampler threads. Collect all the ornaments from this year - nine so far. Believe it or not, Christmas is less than 2 months away! (Eek! I'm still in denial.)

 

 

Farmer's Market-Fresh Apple by SamSarah Designs Studio was stitched on Weeks Dye Works 30ct Straw Linen using Gentle Arts and Weeks Dye Works threads! The embellishment pack finish this wonderful design. This chart is the sixth in the Farmer's Market series, which include Pear, Berry (strawberries), Lime, Kiwi, and Melon (watermelon) too. The top part can be stitched with the five other fruit designs to make a nice framed piece. You can also stitch each of the sculpted fruits from this series of six charts! Cute!

 

 

 

 

 

 

2011 Ornament 7-Baked Goods by Little House Needleworks is one of 12 ornaments for this year. The model was stitched on Weeks Dye Works 30ct Straw Linen using DMC floss, Weeks Dye Works (Swiss Chocolate), Crescent Colours (Bamboo), and Gentle Arts (Mulberry). Stitch Count: 56 w x 57 h.

 

 

Peace & Cheer Santa by Homespun Elegance Ltd Their 2011 Santa Ornament comes with the open brass star charm! Shown stitched on 30ct Mink linen from R&R using Blue Spruce from Weeks Dye Works; Mulberry, Straw Bonnet & Maple Syrup from Gentle Arts; Wisper W89; and DMC floss. Stitch count: 52 x 41.
