Us
Robin's Nest Designs has been gladly
serving the stitchers of the Internet community since 1996 as
a proud member
of various Internet and needlework associations. We started off
as a design studio creating our own Robin's Nest Originals and
doing custom designs. With so many customers also wanting their
special designs as kits, we started providing floss and fabric.
We no longer do custom design work, but now Robin's Nest Designs
is excited to offer the best selection in needlework supplies!
Robin Monroe is the chief needlework
designer, webmaster, and contact person for orders from Robin's Nest Designs.
She has been interested in some form of arts and crafts ever
since she was little. Her mother introduced her to crochet at
10. She taught herself macrame and embroidery in high school.
It was in graduate school when a friend first introduced her
to cross stitch. It was love at first stitch!
Today Robin enjoys combining her
interest in computers with designing by creating her own designs
and designing the web pages you are now surfing! She also enjoys
running her needlework supply business where she can provide
for all your stitching needs.

Policy
Robin's Nest Designs will not share or exchange any information
that you provide us. We will NOT sell, rent, or
market our customer e-mail list to ANY outside parties. Your
information is for our internal use only.
Security Policy
All personal information you submit
is encrypted and secure and for internal use only.
Shipping Policy
Please place your order by
Tuesday at 12 PM Eastern Time (NOON Eastern Time) so we can ship
starting on that Friday (read "For Faster Service"
below for more information).
NOON Eastern time is 11 AM Central,
10 AM Mountain, 9 AM Pacific, 8 AM Alaska, 6 AM Hawaii. We do
observe Daylight Savings Time. You can use this web site (http://www.timetemperature.com/) to help you figure out your time compared
to ours. Please email
us if you are uncertain how to determine
your time for Noon our time.

States via US Postal Service Priority Mail at the following

order form are for shipping to United States addresses and its
protectorates (i.e. Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.). United States P.O.
boxes and APO/FPO addresses have these rates too.

In order to be able to offer free
shipping on domestic orders over $60, we have adopted the following
policies:
1. Most domestic orders are shipped within 2 business
days of receipt WHEN ALL ITEMS ARE IN
STOCK. If a few items are out of stock but due to
arrive in 5 business days, your order will be held and
shipped all together. In the event the out of stock items will
take longer to arrive, these items will be backordered and shipped
separately with no additional cost to you.
2. Most domestic packages are received by customers
in 2-4 business days FROM THE TIME THEY
ARE SHIPPED. Some deliveries can take up to a week.
In the rare event your order does not arrive WITHIN
4 WEEKS from the shipping date, Robin's Nest Designs
will ask the post office for assistance and then reship if the
package is truly lost. Your order will
NOT be reshipped until after 4 weeks of the SHIP DATE & the
post office has NOT found your package. Please contact
your local post office if your package has taken over a week
to get to you. Most of the time, it is being held for you to
pick up and the delivery notice was lost. Please
allow 4 weeks for delivery before assuming your package is lost.
3. All international orders are shipped in their ENTIRETY
ONLY. If you place an international order, it will not be
shipped until ALL items are in stock. International orders are
shipped by US Priority Mail. The S&H listed is for FLAT RATE
ENVELOPE ONLY. If your order will not fit in a flat rate envelop,
it will be placed in a bag or box. There is a $10 USD charge
in addition to the posted shipping charge due to the additional
cost of shipping a box or bag. You will be notified before your
order is shipped if your order will not fit in a flat rate envelop
and thus requires a box or bag. This charge will not show up
on your order. You will be notified by email of this charge prior
to shipping. The fee must be paid before your order ships. Please
note that if your order will not fit in the flat rate envelop,
then more than likely it is a large and expensive order. The
advantage of shipping your order in a box is that you get tracking
and insurance included. There is no tracking and insurance offered
with the flat rate envelop. This is usually not a problem with
smaller orders. Please allow 4 weeks
for delivery before assuming your package is lost.
Please note this policy from DMC:
DMC embroidery floss is available for sale and purchase only
outside the European
Union and cannot be purchased, sold,
or shipped to European
Union countries.
Return
and Cancellation Policy
RETURNS:
Many items are returnable as long as they are in unused, new
condition (i.e. unopened) with the exception of special orders
(such as items that we do not normally carry) and bulk cut fabrics
(fabrics that have been cut a specific size for you). YOU MUST
OBTAIN PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM ROBIN MONROE BY EMAIL (robin@robinsnestdesigns.com) OR PHONE (919-471-6576), OR YOUR RETURN WILL
NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Please leave a message that you would like an RMA and give your
order number and someone will either return your call or email
you the information.
Refunds are issued for authorized
returns up to 30 days after the purchase. If the item was purchased
over 30 days and less than 60 days ago, you will receive store
credit instead of a refund. No returns are accepted after
60 days. If you decide you do not want an item and the return
has been authorized, then the return is subject to a 15% restocking
fee. You are responsible for the return postage if you decide
you do not want an item. You will be refunded for the item's
purchase price less 15% and any adjustments due to sales tax
or savings card reward. You will not be refunded the postage
to or from Robin's Nest Designs. If you have received an item
you did not order (i.e., our mistake), you will be refunded the
postage you paid to send the item back to us and the full purchase
price. If the mistake is ours, you will not be charged the restocking
fee. PLEASE NOTE: Due to copyright laws and unscrupulous people,
charts and books are no longer returnable. Special orders and
fabrics cut a specific size for you are NOT returnable.
If you would like to exchange an
item that you do not want, the same rules apply as for a return
(see above). In addition to the above rules, you will be charged
to ship the exchange back to you and you will be charged the
restocking fee. No exchanges are accepted after 60 days.
If you do not like these policies,
please order carefully or don't order at all! It will save us
both a headache.
CANCELLATIONS:
We place our orders with distributors weekly on Tuesday at 12
PM Eastern Time (Noon Eastern Time). If we need to order items
for your order, you may cancel or change your order any time
prior to Tuesday 12 PM Eastern Time (Noon Eastern Time). Once
we have placed our weekly orders, you may NOT cancel or change
your order. PLEASE NOTE: Due to unscrupulous people, we have
had to implement this policy.
For
Faster Service
We now carry over 40,000 items! Let's
be reasonable. We can't possibly stock all items at all times.
We simply do not have several warehouses! We do stock the more
popular items. Help us help
you! Please place your order by Tuesday at 12 PM Eastern Time
(NOON Eastern Time) so we can ship starting on that Friday. Most of our distributors ship to us in 2-3
days. Please note that needlepoint canvas, fabric, Heritage Stitchcraft
(item # begins with HC), Permin, Eva Rosenstand, Mill Hill items
(item # begins with MH), charms, specialty threads, & hardware
orders may take a business day or two longer to ship. If possible,
we will also have our distributors ship directly to you depending
on the circumstances. We try our very best to get your order
to you as fast as possible. If you have special timing needs,
please let us know when you place the order either by phone,
email or by putting a note in the comments box on your order.
If you have special needs,
we will not know until you tell us!
With such a large database (over
40,000) and all the distributors we deal with on a weekly basis,
we may not get all the discontinued and out of print items off
our web site immediately. If there is a particular item you really
want, drop
us an email and we will be happy to check availability. Let's be adults here. If you order a discontinued
item and we are out of stock and you didn't ask us if we had
it or could get it BEFORE you ordered it, is it really fair to
send us a nasty email when you don't get it? As much as we would
like to, we cannot guarantee notification of discontinued items
prior to shipping your order. There are not enough hours in a
day!
